RADAR4KIT

The service enables scientists at KIT to upload their research data to the generic repository RADAR4KIT and to compile them into data packages. The data can be described with metadata, stored and archived permanently, and made publicly accessible if required.
Published research data can be cited via a DOI and is stored directly at KIT (via the state service bwDataArchive) for a minimum period of 25 years. This ensures compliance with the recommendations of the German Research Foundation (DFG) on security and storage or research data.
The interdisciplinary repository is operated at KIT by the SCC and offered and further developed in cooperation with FIZ Karlsruhe - Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure.
